- if you were absent, it is YOUR resposnibility to make this BEFORE class begins!
- once class starts, your opportunity to make this up ceases to exist and your zero will remain a zero
BAT Testing Reading is Monday!
2.3 Slope-Interecept Form
Write the equation of a line in Slope-Intercept Form if given the following information.
- m = 3/4 (5, 7)
- m = - 2/3 (- 10, 4)
- m = 7/5 ( - 2, 6)
- m = 5/6 (- 10, 11)
- m = - 3/8 (- 4, 5)
- m = - 1/7 (6, 8)
- (10, 7) (18, 4)
- (15, - 12) (2, - 5)
- (- 3, - 4) (- 15, 6)
- (2, 7) (- 8, 3)
First Hour: I revised my notes during second hour. Please rewrite your notes to say these following steps on how to write the equation of a line in slope-intercept form:
1. write point-slope form
2. substitute x1 and y1 with a point on the line.
3. substitute m (you might have to caluculate it yourself. if you do, use the slope formula from aim 1)
4. write out slope-intercept form.
5. solve for y.
