- Aim 1: to find a rational root (then copy Problem 1). The book actually does a decent job of explaining this so much so that I don't think I could say it better myself and that's rare...
- Aim 2: to use the rational root theorem to find the rational roots of an equation (once again, now you should copy Problem 2. Don't forget to copy the paragraph right above Problem 2!!!! That paragraph is part of Problem 2) The only thing I want you to change is Step 3. Step 3 should say, " Now use synthetic division to test each possible rational root to see if it is an ACTUAL root. It is an ACTUAL ROOT if there is no remainder!
