  • fold your paper in half creating a north-south line. Trace the fold. As you complete a problem, creat boxes.
  • This is going to count for a take home quiz grade so PLEASE be sure to do it! I will not take any excuses for it not being done as I did not teach any new material today. If you were absent, you are still responsible for turning it in tomorrow for credit.
  • Make sure the heading is in the top right hand corner of your paper!
  • If work is not done nice and neat in boxes, I will NOT accept it.
  • Let me repeat that again.....
  • If work is not done nice and neat in boxes, I will NOT accept it.
  • Make sure you SHOW ALL of your work for credit!
  • Label your points in your graphs.
  • If a graph requires you to test a point, you should SHOW what test point you're using in your work. Then show me the result of plugging it in. That's what I mean by SHOW your work.

Writing & Graphing Equations in Standard Form
  • you MUST write the above title at the top pf your homework paper!!!!!
  • if your homework doesn't say exactly what it says above, I will not give you a homework grade! There are a lot of papers in the inbox. I don't want to guess what I'm grading. If you don't write a title at the top of your paper (and the title must MATCH what I put on the blog as this is how I am writing it in my gradebook), I can't give you a grade! So STOP being LAZY!
  • Write the equation of a line if given the following slope and point on the line. Afterwards, graph each line.
  1. m=3 (2,6)
  2. m=2 (4, 8)
  3. m=-4 (8,-4)
  4. m=-5 (-10, 15)
  5. m=-3 (-6, -9)
