- for numbers 60-65, use the following steps:
- 1. factor if possible
- 2. state your restrictions by looking at your denominator. since you are not allowed to have zero as your denominator, you must determine what values of x would make the denominator zero.
- 3. now divide out your common factors. what's not crossed out is your final answer.
